06/08-06/29:FULL!Beginning Glass Portraiture (4 wk), Saturdays 1:30-4:30pm

We are thrilled to have guest artist, Jean Alexander join us in the studio to share her tips and tricks on traditional glass portraiture painting. In this four week series, you will take a deep dive into working with traditional Reusche paints (the lead-free variety), from mixing enamels and mediums to matting and shading. Using your choice of one of four classic portrait photographs, you will learn to celebrate light and shadow masterfully with Jean's guidance. Over the course of four Saturdays and 3 firings, you will develop your 6x8" central image on clear glass and then frame in stained glass using the copper foil method. Stained Glass experience is necessary and there will be a $150 materials fee for a basic enamel and brush kit that you will take home with you when class is complete.

Cancellation Policy: DO NOT come to class if you are sick or have been covid-positive person in the last 7 days. If you have a known covid exposure, please WEAR A MASK. We are excited to offer more spaces in the studio, with a class limit extended to 12 people. Cancellations must be received 7 or more days in advance, for store credit or transfer to another class. No refunds. Offering 50% credit until 24 hours before the class unless we can fill your space. Less than 24 hours notice, no credit. Thank you for understanding.
